Play a role of Dragon Warrior in the single-player Dragon Warrior game designed for Nintendo platform. Dragon-lord is an arch enemy in this Nintendo video game who has kidnapped the princess of Alefgard's - daughter of king Lorik. The player's job is to rescue princess and recover the mystic ball of light while playing this role playing game. You will have to find the clues and hints and interact with the villagers to reach enemy and also you will come across the fight with monsters in the Dragon Warrior. While defeating against monsters in this Nintendo video game, you will earn gold and points which you can utilize for buying the weapon, herbs, torches, and armor upgrades that will make you stronger for the fight. Player will be visiting different towns and caves with monsters. Moreover, he/she will have to use the proper commands in this role playing game to unlock the doors with magic keys and search the way to princess and ball of light.

Early in the series the Dragon Quest games were released under the title Dragon Warrior in North America to avoid trademark conflict with the pen-and-paper role-playing game DragonQuest. Square Enix did not register the Dragon Quest trademark for use in the United States until 2002.
