Quattro Sports (Nintendo NES, 1991)
|Quattro ("four" in Italian) is a series of video game compilations (each with four games) released in the 1990s. They consisted of games developed by Codemasters and were published by Camerica except for Power Machines. The NES versions of the games were released as multicarts.
Quattro Sports is a video game made by Codemasters and released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and Amiga. The NES version was not licensed by Nintendo. It features four sports games, Tennis Simulator, BMX Simulator, Soccer Simulator, and Pro Baseball.
BMX Simulator is an overhead race game similar to Super Sprint. The player must race against another player, or the computer, around a series of seven different bicycle motocross (BMX) tracks. There is also a time limit to be beaten. Only two cyclists can compete in each race. The race can be viewed in slow-motion action replay afterwards.
ZX Computing said it was "fun from start ot finish, and rated it a Monster Hit. Sinclair User said it was a "full price game in budget clothing".
